For Hillerød Library, the client and the architect chose jointly solid wood plank floors in ash. The light plank floors bind the library's 2000 square metre together in a both elegant and discreet way. On the 1st floor, where low floor to ceiling height was required, a floating parquet of 14mm Trip Trap engineered plank floor in ash was installed. The surface appearance is equal to the solid wood plank floor. The floors are finished with white pigmented oil.
